Q. Is the app free? A. Yes. Selah is free to download and use. The daily reflection question, the prayer journal, answered-prayer records, calendar and search, daily reminders, joining the prayer community and prayer groups, and the basic themes are free. You can talk with the AI Spiritual Coach once a day for free. You can unlock more features with a Premium or Premium+ subscription.
Q. Do I have to sign in? A. No. You can write in your prayer journal without signing in, and your entries are saved on this device only. To use cloud backup, AI features, the community and prayer groups, and push notifications, you need to sign in with an Apple or Google account.
Q. Is there an age requirement? A. Selah is for people 18 and older, and its App Store age rating is also 18+.
Q. What is the difference between Premium and Premium+? A. Selah has no ads. The two plans differ as follows.
Both plans are auto-renewing subscriptions. Premium+ offers new subscribers a 7-day free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you will be charged.
Q. I changed devices and my Premium features are missing. A. Your purchase history is stored with your App Store account.

Q. I want to cancel my subscription. A. Subscriptions are billed and managed through the Apple App Store. You can open the subscription management screen from Settings > "Manage Subscription" in the app, or cancel directly on your iPhone under Settings > your Apple Account at the top > Subscriptions > Selah. Q. How do I get a refund? A. Apple processes payments, so you request a refund from Apple. Apple's guide to requesting a refund
Q. Where does my writing go when I use AI features? A. AI features work only if you agree. The app asks for your consent once, before you first use one. If you agree, the text you enter for that feature (such as prayer topics or coach messages) is sent through the operator's server to Google's Gemini. Your name, email and account identifier are not sent along with it. For details, see section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
